As its title alludes, 'Brand New Face' is a humorous inspection of society's misplaced preoccupation with physical appearances. Highlighting the absurdity of the often unachievable beauty standards that are fed to us Lynks quips: "I don't like my waist it's a bit too wide so I take this machete and I cut out the side, then I take what's left, staple it to my behind, now I'm super thicc with a microscopic waist line". Sonically speaking, bouncy synthsizers and ticking beats support the all important lyrics, echoing nuances of seminal Scandi experimental duo The Knife at points as they hammer home the message not to take yourself too seriously.
